Start by carefully cutting out the images on the decoupage sheet using a pair of decoupage scissors. We are just about to take delivery of some brand new tweezer style decoupage scissors from XCut. These make intricate cutting out much easier than using standard scissors. And if you buy them with the new DoCrafts Creativity Magazine there's £1 off. I like to pop my pre cut decoupage pieces into a little grip seal bag to keep them safely together until needed.

Cut a sheet of Coredinations Amaryllis card stock to 6 inches square. Run the edges along the surface of a cranberry ink pad. Cut a sheet of Daisy and Dandelion Lovingly Yours pale pink paper to 5.75 inches square. Round the corners with a corner punch and ink the edges. Stick them together with double sided tape.

For the blue background panel cut a sheet of Coredinations Tranquil Blue card stock to 4.5 inches x 3 inches. Cut a sheet of Daisy and Dandelion Lovingly Yours blue love paper just slightly smaller. Round the corners with a corner punch. Ink the edges in pale blue and stick them together with double sided tape. Lay the panel on a flat surface and stick a length of double sided tape about 2cm from the edge. Remove the backing from the tape and stick a length of white organza ribbon over it. Fold the ends of the ribbon and tape to the back of the panel so that they are neatly hidden. Use 3D foam pads to stick the blue panel and ribbon to the right hand side of the card.

Use the XCut Oval and Scalloped Oval nesting dies to cut an oval from the Daisy and Dandelion Lovingly Yours white daisy paper and a scalloped oval from the Daisy and Dandelion Lovingly Yours pink rose paper. Ink the edges of both in cranberry ink and stick them together with double sided tape. Use 3D foam pads to stick the ovals to the left hand side of the card.

Take the purple flowers from the Daisy and Dandelion Lovingly Yours Foldies die cut sheet and fold along the lines shown. Place a 3D foam pad in the back of each flower and stick the largest one in place as shown. Gently pull the other flowers into position before allowing them to drop onto the card and pressing them in place.

Add a greeting panel cut from the decoupage sheet. Take a greeting from the Padded Paws greeting tags pack and ink the edges in cranberry before sticking it to the greeting panel with 3D foam pads.

Stick a round blue greetings panel to the top left hand corner of the card. Take a large purple flower from the Daisy and Dandelion Lovingly Yours Foldies and push a large yellow brad through the centre. Open out the back of the brad and stick it to the blue greeting panel with a glue dot.

Add some little flowers from the decoupage sheet around the corners and edges of the card. Stick them in place with PVA glue and add a dot of gold glitter glue to the centre of each one.

Take the cut out pieces of decoupage and gently shape each one on a shaping mat. Stick the largest layer to the card first using silicone glue. I find it best to use a cocktail stick to apply blobs of silicone glue to the back of the decoupage. Squeeze out a small amount of glue and use the cocktail stick to "chop" it off the tube. Add the glue to the decoupage then gently roll the cocktail stick to release the glue. Tweezers are ideal for carefully positioning the decoupage pieces onto the card. Work down to the smallest piece and then leave your card to dry.

For the card blank simply fold a sheet of A4 Hammer card in half and trim it down to 6 inches square. Ink the edges in cranberry and stick your card front to the card blank with double sided tape.
